Summary
The Intro to DJ course is a structured, hands-on training program designed for beginners who want to step into the world of DJing and understand how professional DJs control energy, build sets, and move a crowd. Throughout the course, students learn the core foundations of DJ performance including beatmatching, phrasing, track structure, cueing, and clean transitions. The program focuses on developing both technical skills and musical awareness, allowing students to understand not only how to mix, but why mixes work. Students will train on professional DJ equipment in a real club-style environment, gaining practical experience with industry-standard gear and workflows. They will also develop track selection skills, learning how to read energy, choose the right tracks, and build sets that flow naturally from start to finish. By the end of the course, students will be able to confidently prepare tracks, perform smooth transitions, and deliver a structured DJ set with control, timing, and musical direction.
