Module 1 — Producer Mindset & Musical Foundations

Students learn how to think like professional producers, building songs instead of loops. This module covers genre awareness, creative workflow development, reference track analysis, applied music theory inside the DAW, chord progressions, tension and resolution, and the relationship between bass, harmony, and melody.

Module 2 — Drum Programming & Groove Design

Students master drum roles in modern production, groove creation, genre-specific patterns, velocity and timing control, sound selection, section-based drum density, and using drums as arrangement tools to drive energy and impact.

Module 3 — Bass Writing & Low-End Engineering

This module teaches students how to write basslines that anchor a song musically and rhythmically. It includes sub and mid-bass layering, sound selection, sidechaining for groove, bass automation, movement techniques, and creating dynamic bass parts that evolve across sections.

Module 4 — Synths, Leads & Hook Creation

Students develop strong melodic identity through lead creation, motif building, call-and-response writing, and hook design. They also learn how to use pads, textures, and supporting synths effectively while balancing foreground and background elements.

Module 5 — Song Structure & Energy Architecture

This module focuses on arranging complete tracks across Pop, Hip-Hop, and House/Techno. Students learn structural differences between genres, section roles, repetition vs variation, density control, and how to manage energy throughout a track.

Module 6 — Songwriting & Vocal Production

Students learn how to write melodies, structure verses and choruses, shape emotional direction, and draft lyrics effectively. The module also covers vocal layering, harmonies, ad-libs, and using vocals to drive song energy.

Module 7 — Creative Effects & Processing

This module teaches how to use reverb, delay, and spatial tools to create depth and dimension. Students explore automation techniques, texture building, emotional movement through FX, and enhancing tracks without over-processing.

Module 8 — Layering, Transitions & Automation

Students learn advanced layering strategy, frequency separation, impact control, risers and transitions, silence and dropouts, filter automation, and techniques for keeping tracks evolving dynamically.

Module 9 — Performance Preparation & Delivery

This module prepares students to take productions beyond the studio. It covers stem export, multitrack preparation, macro and effects mapping for live performance, and adapting tracks for stage or DJ environments.

Module 10 — Finishing & Introduction to Mastering

Students learn how to finalize arrangements, remove unnecessary elements, evaluate track flow, and recognize when a track is complete. The module also introduces mastering mindset, loudness awareness, and preparing tracks for streaming platforms.
